Kichardson, a dairyman living near the car shops in East Portland was robbed ot a fine gold watch, jewelry and money to the amount of 750. Q. "W. Anderson the forger and the lover of Sadie Kirby, an actress, had a hearing upon the charge preferred by John Landgrof, for obtaining money under false pretense today. The testimony was short and con clusive, and, although counsel moved for dismissal the court would not en tertain the motion and held him in 500 bonds to await the action of the grand jury. The Southern Pacific train from San Francisco which should have arrived here this morning has been delayed by the derailment of the southern bound train last night and the mail will not reach this city until about eight o'clock this evening. This afternoon Dr. A. J. Giesy ex amined Mrs. Annetta B. Averill and recommended'her commitment to the asylum.
