Bene dict Sare, an Austrian fisherman, 46 years old, was stabbed to death to night by Nicholas Suttino, his part ner, & laborer. The men quarreled in a sloop anchored in the bay off the Morse cannery "wharf, over the divis ion of. the proceeds of a fishing ex pedition, when Suttino drew a pocket knife and plunged it into Sare's hBart. The murderer leaped over board, swam ashore and escaped. Tho other occupants of the sloop moved jt to the wharf, and helped Sare ashore. The wounded man staggered 200 feet to a saloon, and entering opened his shirt, and ex posing the bleeding cut in his breast to a dozen occupants of "the place. "Look here boys, see how I am cut," he said, Then, before anyone could sneak', be fell to thefloor. dead. Both Sare andT Suttina' came- to Seala three months ago from Astoria.
