Bids must be strictly in ac cordance with printed blanks which will be furnished on application to the Auditor and Police Judge, particular attention being called tothe note on said blanks. The contract will contain a provision to the effect that in case, of failure to complete said work within the time specified, the contractor shall forfeit the sum of five dollars per day for each and every day required to com plete said contract in excess of the time specified. The contractor or contract ors when the contract is let shall enter into bond within forty-eight hours af ter receiving notice ot the award with at least two good and sufficient sureties in the penal sum of $1,000 for the true and faithful performance of all terms and conditions of said contract. Said bond shall also contain a provis ion, that such conttactor or contractors shall and will hold the.
