A typhoon was en countered on November 17th, when the fore, main and mizzen top gallant masts were carried away, and everything attached to the entire suit of sails blown away, the boats stove and the cargo shifted. Captain Clift reports that on November 2Gth he saw a large ship, apparently American, with her top gallant masts gone. Some More Dynamite. San Francisco, Jan. 9. Hasry Brooks, j Charles Eckoff, who has been engaged in fishing on Coos bay for several years, say he can do better salting fish than in selling to the cannery. He says twelve or thirteen Chinook salmon will fill a barrel, for which he received this year $10.50, and the total ex pense of salting is about $3 per barrel. This will pay over 65 cents per fish, and the cannery proposes to pay 25 cents. 3v oVova Blood Elixir is TV.CS6 5 only Blood IRemedy guaranteed.
