Knox, a wealthy young cattle trader from Colorado, was united in marriage to Lizzie D. Miller. The ceremony was performed in the county olerk's office by Squire Strobel, and the courtship was pe culiar. The story is that Knox came here a day or two ago, and yesterday morning got into a car riage on Jefferson street and told the hackman to drive him where he culd see a pretty girl. The hackman started up town, and on turning the corner of Jackson and Jefferson streets spied Lizzie Mil ler. The hackman hailed her and introduced her to Knox, who was greatly pleased with her good looks and invited her into the car riage, after which he instructed the hackman to drive over to Jef fersonvillo. There the license was obtained and the wedding sol emnized. Knox pulled out an immense roll of bills when he.paid the justice. The newly made wife asked him where he was going, and he said back to Colorado. "Am I going with you?" she asked. "No," he said, "I've no further use for you." Knox is still in town, and is having a raging time of it in his honeymoon. (Jinn. Inquirer. K. WrAv Always have rfe., VXXgrWp Acker's Baby Soother at hand.
