The M E district conference of The Dalles district, is now in ees nion in this city, with Rev, Walter Skipworth presiding. The session opened yesterday morning with discussion and com parison of methods for improve, ment of church work, with ser vices in the evening. The meeting will close this even ing. Twenty-five ministers from different points in the district are attending the conference. Portland Livestock Market.
