John Luelling of Hardman, who has been a resident ef Morrow county for almost 40 years, an Oregon pioneer of '49, is very sick at bis home. Mr. Luelling is 94 years of age. Groshens & Shaw have leased the Star restaurant to Jake Wat tenburger. Mr. Wattenburger will make many improvements and will conduct one of the neatest and best eating places in Heppner. Arthur Cochran, the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. VV. R. Cochran, was the victim of a fatal accident Thursday, in V. B. Suodgraas' Hardware store, when a 32 caliber revolver, held in the bands of Mr, Snodgrass, was accidently dia charged.
