Playing, for the varsity team • is Emerson Culpus, a 16-year- old junior who plays tackle. Culpus has played football since the seventh grade. £ Jbining him are C hance Squiemphen, a 17-year-old se nior who plays offensive guard and tackle, and James Scott, a 17-year-old senior who plays fullback and defensive end. According to . Squiemphen, there are various reasons why he enjoys football. “It’s a competitive sport; it’s a contact sport,” Squiemphen .explained. Also playing for Varsity isl Rolin Morning Owl, a ljZ^ear- iold senior who plays offensive gnard. In his opinion, the best part of the game is 1‘just the Ihrill of ip”A;^ Marpn Smith, a 16-year-old ^ophorriore, will be playing wide receiver and linebacker for' the Varsity team.
