The program was a varied one, consisting of vocal, in strumental, violin and piano duets, violin solos, and w'th the refresh ments served by the ladi's the eve ning will long be remembered as one of the pleasciit memories of StanfiUl. W. F. O'Connell sang several tenor so los and responded to nearly encores after each solo. The piano solos of Mrs. Carr were those of an artist and I were heartily encored, as well as the sp irano solo of Mrs. Nolton.
