The funeral of Mrs. Kindred will therefore probably tuke place on Monday. The Interment will be at Sklpanon by way of the noon train on that day. Chin Wing, a Chinaman, was arrent ed yertciday afternoon and In the ab sence of Justice Brower, was placed In the county Jail to aw&it a preliminary hearing on the charge of assault and battery. It aeems that another China man called and presented a bill for money, which he claimed Chin Wing owed him. Chin, however, repudiated the debt and ordered the other Celes tlal from the house, and the other persisting, attempted to eject him forci bly. A fight ensued In w hich Chin drew a knife and stabbed the other in the eye. The Injury was not very serious, although the man la liable to lose the Ight of the eye.
