TUB noptnof.tUp Marshfloh .Re publican Club las,t opening made up In Intorest and enthusiasm what It may have lacked In numbers, I TI1010 was a general and cordial ac ceptance of tho get-to gother policy ..11U 11 determination to do some of toctlvo work for tho party during the remaining weeks of tho cam paign. Iho brief talks by a number of those present evidenced a desire to restore the Republican party to Its own In Coos county and tho state. Harmony and hustle were the twin watch words of the evening. This contorted action of Repub licans of varying shades of belief in tho generul policy of the party is a healthy Indication of an honest ef fort to restore tho party organiza tion, party principles nnd party pres tige. It Is not necessary to set up a new party by name or men. Tho title Republican is good enough for nges to come, and Its use for all time will lime the effect of fixing the credit for Its loftier thought and nobler action exactly whero It be longs, nnd perpetuate it righteously. A ratification of tho higher, strnlglitor, cleaner lino of thought, principle and action which Repub licans have originated nnd which Re publicans havo endorsed, redounds to the abiding honor of tho Repub lican party. This ratlflcatlou comes In a reunion pf all Republicans and their concerted action to restore tho party organization. Men are getting closer together nnd giving thought to pleas that have been overlooked for yours and every tendency Is to n ro kultt(ug of the Republican party. Let us go ahead with our now work and establish It as tho sequent, authentic act of tho Republican party, and thus restrict tho great honor to ourselves nnd our succes sors. Wo can, and should do this thing, since It Is our duty as Repub licans nnd tho peoplo will back tho movement with n strength and sanc tion that will bo at onco Imperative nnd deliberate. Every Republican of Mnrshflold should be enrolled as a member 'of this club and thus loud hlu Influence .0 the perpetuation of tho principles and tho party which It Is proposed to restore to place and power In Coos county and' In Oregon.
