This statcmont Is contained In a letter to C. R. Peck ot tho Port of Coob Bay Commission who wrote to Mr. Teal concerning Portland's campaign to secure public docks there. The matter Is of particular Inter est now becauso tho bond ordlnnnco which tho Port of Coos Bay has re ferrcd to tho peoplo at tho November election contains a provision that $50,000 shall bo spent In securing the waterfront necessary for public docks, etc., horo.
