Local men aro today discussing means of making a final roundup' of the city to insure that the census enu meration here is made as complete as possible. The enumerators, Mrs. Dungan and Mrs. Hewitt, are expect ed to have their work done by May 15 so that only a few days remain in which to make the roundup. Wm, Grimes today suggested that as many citizens as possiblo be en listed in such a plan. Ho suggests that one person in each block in the city mako a canvass of his or her Dlock, getting tho names of every resident in it and then turn these lists Jn and he checked over by the enumer ators. Whether this plan will be adopted is not certain yet. John Pierson of Myrtle Foint died at the Home Hospital in Marshfield yesterday. He had been Wore some time receiving treatment for a com plication of ills. Ho was seventy eight years oLd. The body will be shipped to Myrtle Point for burial, llo had been a resident of that sec tion for a long time. Children arc Victims. Berget Johnson, tho eleven years old child of Mr. and Mrs. Johnson of Wlllanch Slough, died Sunday of pneumonia. The little one had been sick but a short time. May Olsen, tho six months old child of Mr. and Mrs. John Olsen of Wll lanch Slough, died of rheumatic fev er. She had been ill for some time.
