The public utilities com mission has forwarded to the inter state commerce commission a com plaint asking that the three railroads interested in the Camas Prairie line between Lewiston and Grangerille be ordered to make a 97 mile extension from Feuu, Idaho, to New Meadows, to connect with the P. & I. N., thus jiving this slate a north and south ailroad. This has been the dream of idaho citizens for 25 years and the ommission's action was the first eos rate move In that direction. IF THE STATE UNIVERSITY AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE AND THE STATE NORMAL have for many years spent less money per student In training Ore gon boys and girls than is spent at any other state Institution. The present cost at the State Unier slty Is $203 a year; at the College it is $180.
