Miss Ruth Backstfom arrived in Prineville, Saturday from Portland and will be employed in the Tele phone office. Mr. McLean, of the advertising department of the Pacific Telephone Co., was a business visitor in the j city last week-end. i j James Fellows is spending a few ; days in Prineville before returning ! to his home in Burns. Mr. Fellows : has been In southern Oregon for several months. ' Dr. Virgil C. Belknap and Miss Myrtle Clark were married March 1 16, at Canyon City. Dr. Belknap Is 1 a brother of Dr. H. P. Belknap of this city and formerly resided here i i Mrs. H. P. Belknap is going to ' Portland today to viist her sons : Drs. Horace and Leland of Portland, I Wilfred who is attending school at I the University of Washington, and Sergeant Hobart who is stationed at Camp Lewis. They will all be in Portland for the week-end.
