Order setting first day of September, 1915 as time nf hearing of said report and order ing proper notice thereof to be given. Petition of Mathilda Rammin for widow's pension denied because peti tion fails to show three years resi, ience in State of Oregon. Petition of Hattie Morris for wid ow's pension granted. Investigator's report filed. Pension ordered in sum f $17.50 per month. Pursuant to its order of June 24, an adjourned session of the joint County Court of Crook and Jefferson Counties was held this eight day of July 1915 at 10 A. M. All fficers of both courts present. Where upon the following proceedings were fiad, to-wit: Resolution. (Printed in another column.) Joint session adjourned. Court con vened this ninth day of July, 1915 at the hour of 9 A. M. All officers of Crook County present. Final survey with field notes by Surveyor in C. E. Mc Dowell Road. Ordered that road be declared a puh lie highway and'opened for public travel. County Treasurer instructed to keep his office open in the court house in Prinevillo, Oregon. Order an allowance of Thirty-three and a third dollars per mo. deputy hire and in lieu of all additional deputy hire. Clerk instructed to drawl warrant in said sum each month to Treasurer. Commissioner Blanchard appoint ed by Court to investigate the matter of an appropriation to the'Central Oregon Fair Association, with power to act in the recess of the ourt as to the amount to be so appropriated. Order setting first day of Septem ber, 1915 as the time of hearing Pre liminary Report of County Surveyor on the Tumalo Project, No. 1 Road. Clerk instructed to give proper notices to property holders. Order Tax Collectors to proceed to sell all lands bid on by County on ac count of delinquent taxes. Set 16th day of August, 1915 as day of sale and order proper notice thereof, (see order) Commissioner Blanchard appoint ed with power to act to secure legal assistance for Dist. Atty. Wirtz in prosecution of the suit against R. H. Bayley for an accounting. Order warrant drawn in the sum of $20 in favor of Mrs. Mary harle ton for the relief of , indigent. Adjournment. SCHOOL-TEACHERS MAY WED Marrlag Found No Bar to Teaching In Oregon. Portland, Or. Marriage Is not a cause for which a school board in Ore gon may remore a permanent teacher from her position. Judge Morrow so held when, after considering the case more than three months he sustained the position of Maud L. Richards in her case against the Bchool board. Mrs. Richards filed an application for a peremptory writ of mandamus forc ing the school board to reinstate her as a teacher and to pay her salary from January 4, 1916, the day she was married to Oren R. Reports say that Gontales already has rushed several trains of provisions Into the city to the relief of thousands of destitute civilians and that the ar-' rival of these trains caused a great demonstration in favor of the consti tutionalists, i Officers of all governmental depart ments are leaving Vera Crux for Mex ico City, where the constitutionalist government will be maintained.
