P ulp them , rem oving th e seeds, then to th e skins and seeds add the grated rind and strain ed Juice of four oranges, th e juice of tw o lemons, boll to g e th er fifteen m inutes, then add five pounds of sugar, one pound of seeded raisins, one p in t of canned cherries d rained from th e ir Juice and one-half pound of pecan m eats, and one cupful of w a ter. Cook fifteen m inutes then pour Into glasses or Jars.
