George Dunigan returned from Portland on Monday, after spending two week at the Y. M. C. A. Mr. Barnett moved his family to their new home near Wacouda the first of the week. Ralph Lander came up from Vancou ver, Monday, to attend the funeral of his father, W. W. Lander. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Phillips and dau ghter, Hazel; Mrs. Grace Gougfh and little son from Gooch motored down, Tuesday morning to attend the funsrsJ of Mr. W. W. Lander. Fred Chapman and Maurice Dunigan are hauling gravel from Salem onto the cross road in front ef Joe- Snyder's. George Farmenter baa been work- ins; the ship yards at Astoria, and eame horns Wednesday to spend Christinas with his family. He is survived by two sons, Arthur and Ralph and a widow, who ministered to Him fith- fully during the year of failing health and his Inst sickness. Mr. Lander at one time joined the M. I. ehurck.
