The South- em Pacific Railroad company is claim ing the entire waterfrontage on the coast line of Lincoln county from Otter Rock, six miles north of Newport, down to the southern boundary of the county, a distance on a bee line, of about 30 milee, and a much greater distance when the bays and inlets aro considered, it became known today Within this district Is the Newport or Nye Beach, one of the most popular beaches in the state.
