Efforts to keep the price up are being , made by some of the interests who want to get rid of storage stocks and pocket the profit. Candled ,-ggs sell at 21 to 25 cents on the street, but some deal ers report they find it difficult to get sellers. At present L'O cents seems to sellers. At present 21 cents seems to be the top, although some Ionises still tpiote 22. There was a gund demand for hens today, but none were to be had. Mosl houses were generously supplied with orders, but nolhiiig to till tl I. Sprinters were decidedly plentiful, nil I lower in price. Today W cents was top, and they moved slowly even at that figure. The veal market is In good shape, at II cents, wi'h no receipts.
