tho number redeemed by County Clerk
Gehlhar, upon a round up trin'to Silver-ton
and Mt. Angel, where the hulk
of them was obtained; the balance hav
ing been taken in at the office. Thov
represent a total of $d4:U0.

4,709 were gopher scalps and 1 1;
moles. The sculps redeemed at Silver
ton were mostly taken bv 107 ,ovs

was to have-been brought in. The fur
of a silver mole is very fine and silky,
and possesses a beautiful silvery sheen.
