To prove the efficacy of the aeroplane as a factor in modern warfare, Aviators Glenn Martin, Charles Willard and Ignutiou Sonbornne made an aerial attack today upon the fortified position of a bat talion of California National guards men. Several thousand spectators at the Pomona speedway watched the con test. International rules of warfaro were observed, and army officers acted as judges. The aviators made indivi dual attacks and worked at other times in a systemtatically planned offense, raiutng bombs upon the camp. Martin was scehdulcd tomorrow to attempt to break the world's pa6sengor carrying records for endurance and altitude. NORTHWEST CELEBRATES "FRESH SALMON" DAY.
