D. Harbon, Mrs. D. A. Thomas, wife of a millionaire coal mine I owner, and Miss K. Haig would have been released had they given each a $25 bond to keep the peaco for six months but for refusing will have to spend the time in prison instead. They were accused of obstructing the police during a street demonstration last night against Premier Asquith's re fusal to see a suffragette delegation. Miss Phyllis Brady was given 18 months at hard labor on being found guilty of firing the residence of the widow of Field Marshal Sir George White. A Winter Cough. Special agents of the department of juVjice left here last nighl for Klamath Falls ui1 investigate the mysterious murder of Peter Brown, a Piute Indian who was shot to death early Sunday morning in the' Klamath reservation. The local airents were informed that the Indian police had failed to establish a single clue.
