Notice is hereby given that the com mon council of the city of Salem, Ore gon, proposes to establish certain offi cial grades and to re-establish 'and change other official grades on Mar ket street and the Garden Eoad be tween the center line of Church street and the east city limits. The grades which are propdsed to be established, re-established and changed by the com mon council are described as follows, to-wit: At the intersection of tho center lines of Church and Market strcots at an elevation of forty-two and eight tenths (42.8) feet, said elevation being a confirmation of the grade estab lished by ordinance No. 601 of tho city of Salem, Oregon. At the intersection of the center lines of Cottage and Markot streets, at an elevation of forty-four and eight tenths (44.8) feet, said elevation being a confirmation of the grado established by ordinance No. 574 of the city of Salem, Oregon. It appearing to the Court that The Prudential Insurance Company of Amer ica has heretofore filed its duly verified petition, from which it appears that the said petitioner is a stock life insurance corporation, incorporated by the state of New Jorsey, and that the Board of Directors of said Co:npany have deter mined that it would be conducive to the welfare of the corporation and in the interests of the policyholders there of to change the corporation from a stock lifo insurance corporation to a mutual life insurance corporation, and said corporation now applying to the chancellor to appoint two or more dis interested persons to appraise the value of the capital stock of the said corpor ation, and also to appoint one or more counsel to represent the policyholders before said appraisers and in each furth er proceedings as may be taken under or in pursuance of said petition, It is, therefore, on this twenty-second day of April, A. D., 1913, on mo tion of Edward D. Duffiold, Solicitor of said petitioner, ordered that said appli cation be heard by the Chancollor at the State Houso in the City of Tronton on the tenth day of June, 1913, at ton thirty o'clock in the forenoon, or as soon thereafter as counsol can be heard, at which lime and place the Chancollor will hear all parties in interest who may then appear.
