It is reported that Blakely was recently poisoned while attending a political picnic by friends of the con victed grafters. The physicians at the Allegheny general hospital, however, deny this. At tho time or tho dlvorco Tomsky was Coehs' attorney. Saturday, ac cording to Tomsky's story, told In court today, Coehs camo to his ofllce, drew a giun and said: "Say your prayes. Your time has como. I would rathor dlo on the scaffold than In tho almshouse." Tomsky attompted to escape, but CooIib had him cornered.
