G Notwith standing his objections to leaving tho private cell for tho main jail, Million aire William Bradbury was taken from the woman's coll he has occu pied nnd placed In one of tho largor colls of the Jail today. His collmato Is a man who is accused of assault to commit murder. After Bradbury had placed in his new quarters ho stated that ho wnntod privacy. "I hoped to fix up my cell as an office so I could transact some im portant business denls I have on," he said nngrily. Later ho was granted his request for n desk and Sheriff Taylor aided by Urndbury nnd Jail attendants, moved a largo roll-top desk Into tho barred room occupied by tho aged prisoner. Urndbury then wanted a telephone Installed, but the shorlff would not allow him to havo It. Another disappointment was In store for tho prisoner this morning when tne sheriff took from him u silver bell which ho had purchased to ring for tho Jailor when he de sired to send a telegram or postal order. Bradbury has had a number of ob jections regarding his treatment in the prLson and has asked privileges almost constantly. .Sheriff Taylor Bald that Urndbury will rccoivo tho same treatment accorded any other prisoner. So earnestly did ho talk that the police judge decided to give time for further Investigation. Two detpctivos were detailed on the cane and they urrosted Wm. Lowls, finding some of tho Htolou property In his possession. Tho resemblance be tween the two men was most strik ing. One of his porsonal reasons Is that Mullanny realizes he has no police training In fit him for the work. Mayor nusso, however, has not given up hope of persuading Mulla ney to accept the berth and thereforo is holding the office open for u few days in the- hope that his secretary will change his mind.
