Gentlemen:
I herewith submit a statement of
tho balances on hand in the several
funds, at tho end of tho quarter end
ing December 31, 1907.
Tho statement shows that tho
amount of cash on hand at the tlmo
of tho Inst report, October 1, 1907,
was $9971.99. Tho receipts from all
Bourcos since that tlmo hnvo been
$20, 882.10, and tho disbursements
$22,873.80, leaving a balance on
hnnd to the amount of $7980.35.
Thoro aro outfttnndlng general
fund warrants endorsed "Not paid for
want of funds" to the nmotint of
$2042.14. Theso will havo been
called before this report reaches your
honorablo body, and thoro will still
bo a balance left applicable to tho
payment of a part, nt least, of the
warrants drawn for the month of De
comber, 1907; leaving a sufficient
amount on hand to protpct tho pay
ment of Interest duo on various
bonds as It accruos.

tlmo, to tho fact that th books of
tho city treasurer havo never boon
oxportod since 1 took tho office in
