It is to bo rcgrottcd that incompe tency or blundering somewhere in tho city council has again dolaycd this .much needed street improvement. A fatal difference in tho ordinance grades and tho working grado has caused suspension of all work on the street. Tho diffeerenco may bo adjusted, but It should not bo at the cxpemo of the abutting property owners. Tho peoplo along tho street havo been enterprising, patient and long Tailoring. Spe cial trains will leave Ashland and Med ford in tho moaning and will bear tho boosters northward, stopping at way stations to allow the faithful to got on the band wagon.
