It is the intention of tho school to have a debate next Friday after noon. Miss .Tcsslo Pugh returned to Salem Mondny. Tho debate nt the literary Tuesday evening was very interesting. The school children did well indeed, and their arguments woro much apprcci ated by. the audience. This is very ap parent as the judges decided in favor of tho afllrmntive, that being tho side the children upheld.
