There aro also two series of transformers for tho city arc lighting system, and 50 now arc lights for tho streets. Theso latter aro of tho now est enclosed design, of 1200 candle power, nnd will run 100 hours with out retrlmmlng. Ono of tho most Im portant appliances In tho shipment Is a marblo switchboard 8x20 feet, with all tho modern up-to-dnto instruments for tostlng lights as to evenness of voltago'and equalizing of lights. This shipment Includes 108 cases of ma chinery, 19 piecos, 4 crates, 4 barrols and ono tank of oil. Tho mammoth sub-base castings aro Immensely heavy and aro 8x23 feet. P. Boise decided tho case of John M. Noedhatn and others, against A. Wilson and others, by dis missing tho suit, Tho caso was brought by tho plaintiffs as tho trus tees of tho Church of God, In North Salem, against the defendants who wero formerly trustees, but, was al leged seceded and as tho property owned by tho church was In tho namo of tho defendants as trustees, tho plaintiffs asked that thoy bo given tho property. Judgo Boise, In deciding tho case, stated that no ovldonc'o had been offered tending to show that tho eldership of tho Church of God, of tho Northwest, which has control of tho local churches, a similar body to a conference In other churches, had taken any steps In tho matter, and In tho' absence of such action on tho part of tho supromo organization of tho church, ho could only dismiss tho complaint, allowing no costs to olthor party. o Basket Qall.
