When iio hnd completed tho work ho started for tho storo millding, nnd, as ho left tho stable, ho says Markloy, nrmed with n shotgun, camo out of tho back door of tho storo, and waited until ho (Fain) wns but a few yards distant, when ho raised tho firearm and delib erately discharged tho weapon, the contents lodging in Fain's stomach.
