Tho Fourth of July committee usu ally oxpends a llbeial sum in dece rn ting a stand in this park, and It Is thought that this committee will this year contribute that amount towards the pormanont structure, provided It can be completed In time for the cele bration, which can easily be accom plished. Nearby residents will sub scribe liberally for this Improvement, and others who enjoy the cool retreat will no doubt be glad to assist. This Is a good move in the right di rection, nnd comee nt an opportune time. The committee Is composed of persons of the requisite push, who can carry the most commendable plan to sucoees.
