Kdos died at her homo on State street in this city at 0:10 o'clock Saturday ovouiiig, Juno 29, after an illness of soveral months duration. Her aliment was a complication of heart and kidney troubles. Mrs. Ilhoda Chapman Kdos was a daughtor of Wyllo Chapman, at one tlmo United Htatoa marshal for Oregon, and alio was horn in 1'iko countv. Illinois, on November C, 18.18. In 1817 tho Chapman family crossod tho plains to this state and located in this city. Sho was married to George Alfrod Kdos in 1853, aud they resided in this city, four children being horn to them, Gertrude Loulao and Qeorgo Alf'od.Jr., who diod aevoral years ago, and Kd. N.
