This was done in order to protect tlio taxpayers of the county against having to pay more than their share of stato taxes as compared witli amounts paid by other counties, John Jones' 100 acres comes up again fur 189 J assessment. Since theto has been a 20 per cent reduction on real estate, wo will too how tho the 23 5 nulls tux affects him.
