of tho Place do la Kopubltipio addressed
tho crowd.
Among other things he said that tho
anarchists should bo masters of the
streets. The police then interfered and
dhtlodged Faure and Faborot, making
three arrests. Tho crowd at this point
disturbed, but a column of demonstra
tors, headed by Faure and Ilenrid'Horr,
made for the Place de la Nation. Tho
pjllue broke through the column and a
utruggle for tho mastery followed. Shots
were fired, and M. tioulllur, commissary
of illco, was twice stabbed with a
knife.
This throw the iKillee Into momen

und ran toward the Place de la Nation.
The iiolice, reinforced by a Miiad that
had been held in reserve, made another
attempt to stem the current, and fnsh
fierce fighting occurred, three constables
being wounded, Faure and d'Horr
