Only Five Deaths and Fifteen New Cases. New Orleans, , The yellow fever situation continues favorable. There has been no marked change since yes terday, and Yellow Jack has lost his terrors for the people, who arc greatly elated over the gratifying turn of affairs. The record was 15 new cases and Ave deaths. At Jamaica. Colon, Columbia, via Galveston, Nov. 9. Owing to the continued pre valence of yellow fever at Kingston, Jamaica, the Colombian government is enforcing a guarantine against all passengers by the Royal Steamship Company's vessels for the Isthmus of Panama and Pacific ports. The mails also arc detained for fumiga tion. Embargo Partially Lifted. Jackson, Miss., Nov. 9. The board of health Issued orders permitt ing all passengers from non Infected ports in the state of Alabama to come Into Infected points In Missis sippi with the proper health certifi cates.
