Look at the Portland charter bill to
make that city government a worse
machine than it Is now. Look at the
compulsory pilotage act of Mackay.
Look at the bill to abolish all equal
ization of taxes so that Portland will
escape her just share. Look at all the
reckless work of the senate so far and
then ask yourself do the people want
the house organized In the same man
