This jury then failed to agieo, and she was fromandod to jail until court should con fvono again in tho fall. At that term tho juiy rendered n verdict of guilt1, but Itho court was not satisfied. It obtain fed an oxport opinion on witchcraft from sonio ministers, and still not being sat- tisiled rofoiTod tho matter to tho general court. Sho roinained in prison until May, E1070, when tho general court released her con tho payment of tho "jast fees" of the Etnul aud on condition sho should leave ftho state. Catherino Harrison left tho stato and Swcnt to Wostchester, N.
