A richly but not overdressed woman
a day or two ago entered a well filled

The woman's behavior was so mark

Turning to tho lady and onco moro

According to previous announce

of, and surrounding tho vicinity,
met at Klug's Prairie school house
ou Friday, July 17th to hear Hon.
ilobt. Irvine, explain tho objects of
the alliance. Prof. M. V. Kork of
Salem, state lecturer and organizer,
being present was called on by Air.
Trvlno to deliver tho principal speech.
Tho Prof, began by placing iunum

drew a circle tho home. Around

of kings, or wero obediently bound
to tho ilecrces of party, tho lcsult
was tho same the enrichment of

masses. Tho speaker was felicitous
in his blackboard Illustrations, hold

exception clause placed in tho legal

of the bullion holders, they wero en
abled to run down thu coin value of
paper dollar paid tho soldier to 28
cents on tho dollar. (It was 1Jj)
that wo had during tho war period,
In circulation, V" per capita, now
hut $1.78. That tho capitalist hav
ing control of tho volume
of money through the national
banking system could control prices,
and squees the pleasure. That as
the government created the national
bank money and loans It to tho
buuks at ouo per cent, tho alliance
demanded that tho same govern
ment take into consideration tho
Interest of the farmers and loan to
them at two per cent. Hiirely the
capitalist could not complain that
this Is unjust favorltlsms to tho
farmer, That the circulation should
he Increased to fAO per capita. Aud
that tho government should own
tho transportation and telegraph
facilities. Tho speech was about
two hours long and hold tho utlen

frequently applauded. At tho close
Mr. Irvine read tho platform of tho
