They are put up in the most careful maimer, on scientific principles, but it Is impossi ble for the company to guard against tho carelessness of others in allowing their telephone wires to remain In a condition which permits them to swing loosely or fall down and come In contact with the elect flu cur rents. He was suflcring from consumption and has been ick the greater portion of his time here. He obtained work at the penitentiary foundry, but could stand it only a few days. He was finally prostrated two weeks ago to d,ay and has been out of his room onlv a few times since. Nobody here know any thine about him further than above recited, except that he intended going to Denver after working a short time here. She was one of the highly respect ed old pioneer of this part of the valley, having eroded the plains ir 1S-51 and resided in the neighborhood ot her death ever since.
