Mleli nel Se'bold was brought hero from Moscow, Idaho, by the 'chief of police of this city, who arrested him for the murderof his former employ er, Thomas Fallon, May iM, 18S7. Fallon at that time was tho uro prieter of the Montana Exchange sciloon in this city. Sebold was I1I3 bartender. Sebold and FiiIIouh'h wife became quite liitimato aud were freeiuently seen out at night together. On the night of tho 24th of May, 1887, thoy were out late, and about an hour after they had returned to the saloon a shot was heard and Fallon was found in tho back room dead. An inquest was held and tho verdict wan suicide, but murder was strongly suspected. Five elays later Sebold and Mrs. Fallon were married, and went to California, whero she died suddenly. He returned, claimed Fallon's prop erty and went to Ttlaho. Chief of Police Warren has been working up the cape since October, aud has Just got evidence to warrant tho arrest of tho man. Heboid Is now lu all awaiting his examination, which will occur Mon day. A Farmer Killed. Okkoon City, Or., July 18. Ellns Edwards, a fanner living Ave miles south of town, was killed last night by the kick of a horse. Ho had been working in tho harvest field during tho afternoon, and. was water ing his horses when 0110 a thrco-year-old colt Is supposed to have kicked him. JIo walked about twelve rexlb up tho hill to n small gate, and called to his brothor-iu-law that he was hurt. Ho was help ed to the houso aud in fifteen min utes ho was dead. Several ribs wero found to bo broken on tho right side, but death Is suppeised to have been caused by internal Injuiles. Ho wus an exemplary neighbor and citizen. The liohl lli-ick !on. A sharper named Bt rector worked tho gold brick dodge to a successful is sue hero last night, upon William McKcllopg, a wealthy gentleman of Perry, Bhiawasso county, and presi dent of the First National bank of Coruuua. An appointment was made last nightand as a result McKcllops was made tho owner of two supposed gold bricks, valued at $20,000, and tho sharper was richer by $4000.
