The physician In -charge of the suspicious cases reported last night that Mrs. Battersby, the first case developed, was progressing nicely, and that her complete recovery was a matter of but a short time. A baby in the same house is reported ill, but the symptoms are not those of the dread disease from which - Mrs. Battersby is believed to be suffering. In the other cases, - the physician stated, there rwas no longer any doubt, 'but the patients were suf fering from attacks of malignant ma larial fever. Kate Ronco, one of these cases, Is rapid'y recovering, and the quarantine at her place of residence may Be raised tonight.
