trip to Ashton where they
took Mrs. Boston's mother,
Mrs. Lucy Rogers, to attend
the funeral of her brother,
George Nedro.
The Boston home was
filled with guests Sunday as
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rogers,
Nampa; Mr. and Mrs. Bob
Shippy and family of Weiser;
Bettv Boston, Ontario; and
John Boston and son John all
visited during the day.

Boston has recently been In
the hospital but Is now
recuperating at home.
Mr. and Mrs. William
Gregg of Santa Maria, Calif,
spent the week in the Lloyd
Dibble home.
Tuesday Sue Dibble took
the Greggs to Cambridge
where they visited Hank
Dibble and family and then
went on to Weiser to visit
with Mrs. Ann Hopper and
her family.
Friday afternoon Wait and
Ann Hopper and family were
in the Dibble home for
supper and visiting with the
Greggs who left Monday to
return home by way of
Washington.
The sister of Mrs. Tom
Ferguson,
Helen Hatch,
spent the night Saturday in
the Ferguson home.
Guests in the Clarence
Fritts home this week were
Mr. and Mrs. Don Somers
of Nyssa who visited Sunday
evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Sells
returned home last Tuesday
from a trip to Gold Hill,
Oregon where they attended
a family reunion.
John and Men Sells, son
and daughter-in-law of the
Ed Sells were visitors in their
parents home Saturday and
Sunday. On Sunday evening
Meri's parents, the Lees,
were added guests for
a barbecue. Later they sho
wed slides of John and
Meri's wedding and recep
tions including a reception
held in California which the
Ed Sells were unable to
attend.

supper with Dave and Karen
Sells of Meridian this week.

home Tuesday evening. He

no news for two weeks from
Big Bend. My forced vacation
ended last Tuesday after
spending eight days in Boise,

Hospital for tests and z-rays.

Boyce Van DeWater over the
4th of July weekend.
Kelly Allsop left Friday,
July 8 for Fairbanks, Alaska
to visit her father Richard

Class of 1959 held their
reunion the weekend of the
4th. Former residents coming
were Leonard Wood, Kay
Cleverly, Jim Thompson and
Philip Hatch. Mike Sillonis
and Alan Bennett were also
members of that class.

home July 6 from Ulysses,
Kansas where he had been
visiting his daughter, Mr.

Saturday by plane for Cama
rillo. Calif, where she bad
an eztended visit with Mr.
and Mrs. R. B. Hancock. The
plane was one hour and 45
minutes late. They had
engine trouble.
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne
Rhodes and two
boys of
Parma and Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Rhodes and two boys
went to the Owyhee Lake
Saturday. They did some
boating and water skiing.
They saw Mr. and Mrs. Jim
Webster of Ontario who
were there for the weekend.
They are former residents of
Adrian.
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Robb
and friends, Mr. and Mrs.
Philip Breshears went to
Wallowa Lake Wednesday
while there they took a plane
flight over Hells Canyon and
over the lakes. It was really
beautiful. They saw several
large herds of elk. They
returned home on Saturday.
Mrs. Paul Gehrke went on
a picnic at the Owyhee Lake
Sunday with Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Rhodes and family.
Also at the picnic were Mr.
and Mrs. Wayne Rhodes and
family of Parma. Those
coming in the afternoon were
Mr. and Mrs. Dick Tooley of
Parma and Mr. and Mrs. Jim
Rhodes of Los Angeles.

High in 1950, is now with the
Bureau of Police-Commander
Detective Division. The Tom
Tucker family of Parma also
visited at the Tuckers.

Bessie Oling of Portland
visited with Eulalia Curl from
July 2 to July 7. Bessie is
Eulalia's niece. The Darrel
Curl family from Whittier,
California arrived on July 6,
for a couple weeks vacation.
Several fishing trips had
been planned, if they could
just find a good fishing spot.
The Dale Franks from
Boise came over for the 20
year class reunion that was
held Saturday evening, July
9. at the Parrish Hall in Vale.

union that had attended
grade school at Willowcreek,
were Joe Stan from Boise
and Deanna (Marz) Bates
from Burns. Eva Frank, Joe
Stan and Deanna Bates had
gone all through grade school
and high school together.

the Grand Bethel of Job's Daughters for the State of Oregon
at the recent Grand Session in Salem.

It was an old-time bam
dance on Friday evening, to
help Jill Hammerle celebrate
her 13th birthday. The party
was held in the Hammerle's
bam, with about 20 friends
coming for pizza, birthday
and dancing.
