The meeting was preceded by a potluck dinner honoring members of Job's Daughters Bethel *33 and members of Owyhee Chapter Demolay. Preceeding the meeting, Mark Nelson. State Senior Master Counselor of DeMolay in Oregon gave the Flower talk for all present Chapter then opened in regular form. Escorted and introduced were Martha Titmus of Silver Star *23, Homedale, member of letter committee. Grand Chapter Idaho; and Myrtle Sasser, Grand Represen tative of Utah in Oregon Stardusters will not meet May 10, date to be announ ced later. Under new business, elec tions for the coming year were as follows Beatrice Grossnickie, worthy matron; George Cartwright, worthy patron; Amelia Pratt, asso ciate matron; Foy Sasser associate patron; Mae Schire- man, secretary; Louise Wer nick, treasurer; Gladys New- bill. conductress; and Sadie Metcalf, associate conduc tress. Appointive officers will be announced later. Worthy Matron of Grand Chapter of Oregon announ ced Amelia Pratt a new Grand Committee member for nest year on Blood Bank Committee. Louise Wernick and Lois Cartwright will serve as assistant Grand Warder at this 1476 session. George Cartwright, assistant grand sentinel. Cleta deBoer, as one of the hostesses at Grand Chapter. Worthy Patron conducted Good of the Order and the following made report* on visits Amelia Pratt. Beatrice Grossnickie. Lois Cartwright, Myrtle Sasser. Cleta deBoer and Louise Wernick. Honored Queen announced her "Go to Church" Sunday is to be at the Christian Church, Sunday. May 9. She thanked all who helped with the cooked f<x>d sale. Bethel will serve a dinner Sunday, May 16 at the Masonic Hall from 12 till 5 p m. There will be a charge of S2.5O for adults and SI.50 for twelve years and under. The executive council held a short meeting following the Bethel meeting. They ap proved all the plans which had been submitted by the girls. Bethtel *33 held a card party at the Masonic Hall May 3. The Silly Sewers 4-H club of Adrian meets every Tuesday with Mrs. Jim Holton.
