APPLE VALLEY - Mrs. Laura Bale and Mr and Mr*. Phil Bale and family attended the Pathfinder* program given at the Adventist church in Payette on Saturday evening Afterwards they enjoyed pizza at the Grizzly Bear tn Ontario. Laura Hale attended the Easter breakfast at the Nazarene Fellowship Hall and later had Sunday dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Leo Montague. Mrs. Walt Adams of Grangeville was an Easter dinner guest of Mr and Mrs. Chuck Hale and also visited with Mrs. Laura Hale. Bob Bale was alto a Sunday afternoon visitor of Mr». Hale. Many friends from Apple Valley and Parma attended the graveside service on Monday afternoon for Mr*. Mayme Stout who passed away at Boise. Mr and Mrs. William Knos returned home April 11 from a two-weeks trip. They visited her sister Mrs Lewi* Webb, at Dealer, low* whose husband had just passed away, and his sister at Winterset, Iowa From here they drove through Missouri to Arkansas and Oklahoma where they visited more relatives then went sight seeing to Leias. New Meaico Colorado. Utah and then home At Grandview. Idaho they stayed overnight on Saturday with Mr and Mrs. Clifford Knos before coming home Sunday evening Mr and Mrs Don Somer* were Sunday afternoon visi tors of Mr and Mrs William Knos. Mr and Mrs Fay Collin* were Friday overnight guests of Mrs Estclla Fraiser. at Boise and helped her cele brate a birthday anniversary. On Saturday they were overnight guests of Mr and Mrs Ralph Russell of Boise and celebrated a birthday anniversary for Fay Collins with an Easter dinner. Mr and Mrs. Larry Miller entertained for Easter Sun- day dinner. Mr and Mrs. Albert Miller. Darrell Miller and Nettie from Caldwell and Mrs Peggy Stringer, Chip and Dawn of Nampa. Mn Ales Wagner enter- tamed for Faster Sunday dinner. Mr and Mrs. Jim Sinker and family and Mr. and Mrs. Phil Hale and family. Charles Mr and Mrs Durfee of Caldwell were Ihursdav visitors of Mr and Mrs. Roy Rookstool Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rook stool were Easter Sunday dinner guests in the Bob Rookstool home at Caldwell. Mrs Laura Bale and Mrs. Mary Honey attended the Senior citizen dinner in Nyssa on Wednesday. Ernest Fisher was released from the Boise Hospital on Saturday and is recuperating at home. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Boston, Mr and Mrs. John Boston and family. Mrs. Edna Shippy of Idaho City and Mrs. Betty Bolton and sons of Ontario were Easter Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shippy at Wei ser. was hostess on Thursday afternoon for the Susannah Circle. Ten ladies were present and the study on the Prophets was given. The Susannah Circle will meet on Friday the 23rd for an all day meeting to tie quilt* in the C. L. Fritts home, covered dish lunch a! noon Henry Dibble of Cam bridge. Idaho was a Friday dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs Lloyd Dibble. Mr. and Mr*. Walter Hopper and girls of Midvale were Sunday guest* of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Dibble. Mrs. Hopper and girls stayed with her parent* for several more day* visit during Easter vacation. Marilu Wilson of Rupert came home Wednesday for Easter vacation with her mother Mrs. Helen Wilson. Mr*. Nell Correll visited 1 -J ! r 1 « I Mr and Mrs Earl Boston and Mrs Betty Holton were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shippy at Weiser In the afternoon the ladies went on the Star Spangled Tour of seven homes and two churches, with tea at the Museum afterwards Some of the homes were new but the other and the churches were old and redone and were furnished with antique furni ture and fixtures. They were very beautiful. On Friday the Susannah Circle met at Mrs. C. L Fritts home for an all-day quilt tieing party. They tied two quilts before a pot luck lunch at noon and two quilts after lunch. 'Five other neighbor women came in the aftermxin to help.
