There were 34 members present. Mr. and Mrs. David Beers are new members. The minutes and trea surers report were approved. The club decided to set up the quilting frames and quilt a quilt. It was decided to give one last try for the revenue sharing money. Mrs. Long will make the appeal to the City Council. A discussion was held on selling conces sions at the Thunderegg Festival. This was tabled until the next meeting. A trip to Succor Creek was dis cussed and a report was given on the housing project. The meeting was closed by the Lord's Prayer. The nurse attended and took blood pressures. The potluck din ner followed the meeting. Mrs. Bernice Fisher en tertained the Thursday After noon Bridge Club at her home last week. Guests for the afternoon were Mrs. George Sallee and Mrs. Louie Maulding. Winning honors went to Mrs. Maulding and Mrs. Fisher. Council on Aging The board of the Council On Aging met at the Nyssa Senior Citizens Clubhouse April 12 with 13 members from Ontario. Vale and Nyssa in attendance. Mr. Thompson, chairman, presided over the meeting. The minutes were read and approved Meals On Wheels were discussed. This seems to be a popular activity in Ontario.
