Walking the complete route
of 24 miles were Danny,
Deanna. Peggy and Dick. As
Dick is only a Fourth grader,
this seems like a remarkable
thing. None of the group
walked less than 12 miles.
Mrs. Dale Smith who had
been assisting with the care
of the Sam Pollard family
became ill and was a patient
of the Holy Rosary Hospital
in Ontario receiving treat­
ment and tests from Friday
evening until Tuesday.
