Mr and Mrs Denrel Weeks and family. Willow Creek and Mrs. Sandra Elie and son of Lubbock. Texas. • • • Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Wilson enjoyed the company of their daughter. Stephanie Wilson, who is employed at Kaiser Hospital in San Francisco and their son. Dr. Paul Wilson of San Diego. Dr Wilson has been accepted for a ooe-year fellowship at the University of California in San Diego after he has completed his residency in radiology in June. They returned to their homes in California the day after Christmas. • • • Mrs. Merle Johnson and her daughter and son-in-law. Mr. and Mrs Pat Sweaney and their son. Douglas of Caldwell celebrated Christ mas Eve and Mrs. Johnson’s birthday at the home of her granddaughter. Mrs. Patncia Rossman and family in Boise. On Christmas Day they were all dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sweaney in Caidwell Mrs. Johnson returned to her home in Nyssa on Saturday. • • • Christmas dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wilson and Tom were their other son Dave, from Oregon State. Mr and Mr» Lloyd Wilson. Stephanie Wilson from San Francisco, and Paul from San Diego; Mr and Mrs. Dick Martin and girl» and Norman Wilson Guests at the Larry Black burn home on Christmas Day were het parents. Mr and Mrs Ralph Newberry of Jerome, his mother. Mrs Manon Blackburn and bro ther. Dwight Blackburn and Larry's grandfather. Charles Gerhauser all of Middleton. and Larry's sister and hus band. Mr. and Mrs. Rick Russell and family of Wilder. Overnight houseguests the following evening were Mr. and Mrs. Roger Lewis of Twin Falls. • • • Mr and Mrs. Ed Boydell of Salt Lake were in Nyssa over the weekend visit his mother. Mrs. A. H Boydell who is a patient in Malheur Memorial Hospital She fell Friday evening and fractured her shoulder. She is doing quite well and may have visitors. • • • Mary Lee Wahlert arrived at the home of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wahlert on Tuesday. She enjoyed Christ mas with her family and returned to her home in Eugene Friday evening. Their son. and daughter-in law, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wahlert from Portland came Sunday and are vtsiting his oa rents this week. • • • Mr and Mrs. Forrest Mc Cool were Friday evening visitors at the Frank Byers home. Mr and Mrs. Jim Gn**in enjoyed Christmas in Boise at the heme of their son and family. Mr. and Mrs Lonnie Gorrell and Monica. Others attending were Mr. and Mrs. Gary Jordan and Kimberly of Seattle. Mr and Mrs. Jack Gann and Penney of Boise and Mr and Mrs. Calvin Griffin and Ellen of Nyssa. • • • Mr. and Mrs Brad Bur ningham and Nathan of Orem. Utah have been spending the holidays at the homes of their parents. Mr and Mrs. Lewis Riggs for a visit following his release from the Arms on [tecember 20 Qn December 22. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Riggs and Doyle attended the Christmas pro gram at the Notus School. Their grandchilden partici pated. Christmas dinner guests at the parental home were their son Doyle, and their daugh ter and family. The Townes were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Mr. and Mrs Wayne Oliver and Kati of Portland, and another daugh ter Ruth Ann of Eugene. The Olivers returned to their home in Portland on Sunday. Ruth Ann will be visiting until December 31. Sgt Patty Phelps, another daughter arrived at the parental home on Monday from McCord Airforce Base She will be in the Nyssa area visiting until January 2. THE SON SHINESS OF NYSSA will be singing at the Owyhee Community Church. Sunday. January 4 at 8 p.m. The group is made up of the Haney family, including the father. December 16. at the Eagles Hall After the regular meeting, a social hour was held with husbands invited. The neat regular meeting will be Tuesday. January 6. at the Eagles Hall at 8 p.m BRIDGE ACTIVITIES Mr. and Mrs. Fred Guthrie hosted the Couple's Club Saturday evening. Guests for the evening were Mr and Mrs Emil Stunt. High honors went to Mrs. &ni/ Stunt and Harry Miner Also singing with the group for the services will be the Nielsen Quartet The Quartet is made up of two families of brothers and sisters.
