Ontario; Glenda Barnes, past princess. Bethel <33; Six members of Bethel #25 were introduced: Vera Webb, guardian; Robert Holmes, associate guardian Bethel #33; Kay Kramer, Grand Marshall of Oregon, making her visitation as Grand Deputy. Della Holmes, Myr tle Sasser and Louise Wernick, past guardians. Announcements made were as follows: cooked food sale at MAW, held Novem ber 22. Hayride to be held December 5. Dinner party to be held for Masons and Stars at the Masonic hall at 5 p.m. Bowling party. Soloist was Tom Howe, accompanied by Ron Palmer. Parents of the newlyweds arc Mr and Mrs Bill Manser of Ontario and Mr and Mrs Ralph Kile of St h.hn Washington The bride, given in mar riage hv Bill Manser, chose a gown of Champagne eyelet lace accented with cocoa brown velvet sash and bow. The gown was styled with a v-neckline. short sleeves and skirt was fashioned with three tiers of eyelet lace. Her chapel length veil was held to a bow headpiece. She carried a bouquet of large orchids. Matron-of honor was Mrs. Carol C'eniga of Ontario. She wore a fltxsr-length gown of yellow jersey and carried a bouquet of dried flowers in fall colors, centered with a candle. Bridesmaids were Nancy Fike. Seattle; Juanita Finger. Malita Roach and Linda Magnuson, all of C ANDIES The meeting was preceded by a potluck dinner. The tables were beautifully deco rated in fall colors. Next meeting will be Wednesday, December 10. Elections will be held. Ontario. All bridal attendants wore fl.wr length gowns of peach jersey •”<! each carried a bouquet of dried flowers, centered with a candle. Candle lighters were Darla and Bill Manser. Flower girls were Shawna and Julie Ceniga. Serving as best man was Dan Lust of Spokane Usher ing the guests were Dick Butcher. Nyssa; Rick Fike. Seattle; and Rod Manser. Corvallis. Mothcr-of-the bride chose a floor-length gown of orange jersey. The groom's mother wore a floor-length gown of orange knit. Their corsages were orchids. A reception followed at VIP's and a buffet dinner was served the guests. The reception table was centered with a three-tiered wedding cake, flanked with bouquets of wheat and dried fall flowers. Follow ing a wedding trip to Lake Tahoe, the couple is making lheir home in St. John. Washington. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Loren- sen went to Kuna Friday night to attend the Honor Choir and Honor Band Concert, which was held in the new Kuna High School gym. Mr. and Mrs. Veryl Harri son and children of Ontario were Sunday afternoon visi tors at the Harley Wilson home. Mr and Mrs. Omar Hite of Baker were Saturday evening guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harley Wilson. Mrs. Elver Nielsen, Mrs Jim Langley attended an executive meeting of the Christian Women's club at the home of Mrs. Ben Kerfoot in Fruitland Wednes day afternoon. Mr and Mrs. Ira Price called on Cliff Cates at the hospital Sunday. Mr. Cates underwent major heart sur gery and has spent some time in intensive care. It is reported that Klaas Slam who underwent major surgery at the Ontario hospital is recovering satis factorily at this time. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Reffett returned to their home after visiting at the home of Mrs. John Reffett last week. Mr and Mrs. Boyce Van DeWater called on him Thursday and Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Garney Wheelam left Saturday for their home in Greeley, Colorado after visiting Mr. and Mrs Noel Tuppeny for a week.
