They «aw Mr. and Mr» Myron Gossard at the trailer court. They will remain there until September when they will go to Missouri. They picked choke- cherries and wild blackber ries. The elderberries were not ready yet. The Gossarda are former Adrian residents. Mrs. Marie Moore went to the Fair in Ontario Thursday, Mrs. Rollo Fenn and Mrs. Mabie Piercy went fishing at the Malheur Reservoir Tues day and also on Pole Creek. Fishing was not very good Mrs. Rollo Fenn called on Mrs. Dale Witt Friday morning, Mrs. Dale Witt called on Mrs. Erma Sparks and Mrs. Irvin Topliff Friday. Saturday afternoon, Mrs. Dale Witt accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Boyce Van DaWa- ter of Big Bend to the Fair in Ontario. Mrs. Witt got her three pictures she had entered. Her picture of "The Old Man" got a blue and yellow ribbon for First and one of the best, "Autumn in the Rockies" got a red ribbon fur 2nd place. Her picture of the "Little Train" did not place. Mrs. Marie Moore called on Mrs. Irvin Topliff Friday afternoon. Mrs. Dave Savage and girls visited her mother. Mrs. Carl Fenn Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Carl Fenn received word of the death of her nephew. Delbert Fenn of Albany, Oregon, Saturday. Mrs. Carl Fenn. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Fenn, Elsmore Fenn of Homedale. Mrs Dave Savage and Mrs. Wesley Walker and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Simpson went to Albany where they all atten ded the funeral services on Monday. Mr and Mrs. Greg Topliff and son Kelly of Boise were Sunday afternoon visitors of his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Topliff. Mr. and Mrs. Luit Stam attended the wedding of Casy Laan and Dennis Perry Saturday evening at the Kirkpatrick Presbyterian Chu rch in Parma. Casy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Laan. former residents of Newell Heights, now living near Caldwell Mr and Mrs Carl Bege man of Adrian visited Mrs. Dale Witt Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Mas Jones •nd two children and her mother. Mrs Snodgrass all of Dodge Chy. Kansas came last Sunday to visit his sister. Mr and Mrs. LeRay Sprague They returned home on -Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Bill Webb went to Fish Laks on Thursday In the evening they were surprised by Mr. and Mrs. Russell Coffman. Carolyn and Ronnie of Milwaukie. Oregon who left on Friday Fishing was good. The Webbs returned home late Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Tunis Gamer of Homedale were Sunday dinner guests of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Chamber- lain. Jeff Camp bell of Ontario and Jody Phelps. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lee Hill •nd Terri and Lee attended the Malheur County Fair in Ontario the past week. Activities In Arcadia s, iwa S wmx Mr. and Mrs. George Ropper and family from Las Vegas, visited his mother Golds Ropper from Tuesday to Saturday of last week. They then went on to Longview, Washington to visit his wife's brother. Wilma and Marvin Jensen and boys of Boise were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Otis Bullard Merv and Wilma Jensen attended JOth Clasa Reunion at the Eastside Cafe Saturday night.
